This chapter describes the ERPS commands supported through the CLI.
NOTE: These commands are applicable only for TJ1400P-M2 switch.
The command is used to create ring, rid has integer value from 1 to 255.
Defaualt: none
Format: erp ring <rid>
Mode: Global Config
NOTE: To edit the ring, the ring and associated ringlets should be in deactive state.
The command is used to add ERP ring east port.
Defaualt: none
Format: east-port <port-number>
Mode: Erps ring config
NOTE: [ring-port] is of format <slot>/<port>
The command is used to enable ERP ring.
Default: disabled
Format: enable
Mode: Erps ring config
NOTE: The ring is operational only when it is enabled. Once a ring is enabled it becomes operational and will not be allowed to modify until disabled.
The command is used to disable ERP ring.
Default: disabled
Format: no enable
Mode: Erps ring config
NOTE: Once a ring is disabled the ring parameters can be modified before enable. User is allowed to disable erp ring, only when all ringlets associated with the ring are deactivate
The command is used to exit from the mode.
Format: exit

The command is used to configure ERP ring guard timer. The guard timer value varies from 10 to 2000 msec.
Default: 500
Format: guard-timer <10-2000>
Mode: Erps ring config
NOTE: The <milliseconds> should be in multiples of 10.
The command is used to configure ERP open port.
Format: open-port <east-port/west-port/none>
Mode: Erps ring config
The command is used to configure the ring name. The name can be upto 15 characters.
Default: none
Format: ring-name <string>
Mode: Erps ring config
NOTE: This command is not mandatory but can be used for user convenience. <string> is of max 15 characters.
The command used to configure ring type. The ring type can be open ring or closed ring.
Format: ring-type <closed-ring /open-ring>
Mode: Erps ring config
The command is used to configure the time taken for ring to switch the traffic route. Acceptable values range from 05 - 12.
Default: 300
Format: wtr <10-720>
Mode: Erps ring config
The command is used to add ERP ring west port.
Default: none
Format: west-port <port-number>
Mode: Erps ring config
NOTE: [ring-port] is of format <slot>/<port>
The command is used to create ringlet, ringlet id has an integer value from 1 to 8.
Default: disabled
Format: erp ringlet <ringlet - Id>
Mode: Global config
NOTE:To edit the ringlet info, first the ringlet should be deactived.
The command is used to configure control VLAN. cvid value ranges from 2 to 3960.
Default: none
Format: cvlan <cvid>
Mode: Erps ringlet config
NOTE: The valid <cvid> range is 2-3960. <cvid> should not match with <cvid> or data-vlan-list of any other already configured ringlet.
The command is used to configure data VLAN, dvid value ranges from 2 to 3960.
Default: disabled
Format: data-vlan <dvid>
Mode: Erps ringlet config
NOTE: <dvid> can be range or a single value.For example 3-40;89
The command is used to configure east port as shared.
Format: east-port-shared
Mode: Erps ringlet config
The command is used to enable ERP ringlet.
Default: disabled

The command is used to disable ERP ringlet.

Format: reversion-mode <non-revertive/ revertive>

The command is configure ring-id to be associated with ringlet.
Default: none
Format: ring-id <rid>

The command is used to configure ERP ringlet name. The name can be upto 15 characters.
Default: none
Format: ringlet-name <string>

NOTE: <string> is of max 15 characters.
The command is used to configure ERP ringlet type.
Default: none
Format: ringlet-type <major/ sub>
Mode: Erps ringlet config
The command is used to configure ERP ringlet RPL port.
Default: none
Format: rpl-owner <east/ none/ west>
Mode: Erps ringlet config
NOTE:
Follow the steps to change the RPL-owner port/the node with RPL-owner port to another node:
1) Care should be taken that there is no traffic in the ring. The running traffic will cause loop as there is no block port in the ring
2) Before changing RPL port, admin down both ring ports on that node and then change RPL port. Due to this, the mac-address-table will be flushed on all nodes due to generation of Signal Fail (SF) message and relearning takes place.
The command is used to configure east port as shared.
