Ethernet Performance Statistics of CEL-3 Card

Perform the steps given below to view the performance statistics of an Ethernet interface on CEL-3 card.

Click Performance in the navigation pane.
Do one of the following:
- To view performance statistics on current interval, click Current interval > Ethernet in the navigation pane. Ethernet-Current interval statistics preview pane is displayed.
- To view performance statistics for 15 minutes interval, click 15min intervals > Ethernet in the navigation pane. Ethernet-Interval statistics preview pane is displayed.
- To view performance statistics for previous day, click Previous day > Ethernet in the navigation pane. Ethernet-Previous day's history preview pane is displayed.
Click on the desired ETHTX/ETHGE port link. The performance statistics of the selected Ethernet port is displayed.

ETHTX/ETHGE Performance Parameters- Binned Counters

Parameter	Description
Idle Seconds	The count of idle second in Ethernet traffic. An idle second is a second in which no data frames or errored frames are received. This counter will be incremented in a non-ES/non-SES/non-UAS second.
ES	The count of Errored Seconds.
SES	The count of Severely Error Seconds.
UAS	The count of Unavailable Seconds.
Frames Transmitted	Count of frames transmitted.
Single Collision Frames	Number of frames that are involved in a single collision.
Multiple Collision Frames	Number of frames that are involved in more than one collision and are subsequently transmitted successfully.
Frames Received	Count of frames received.
FCS Error Frames	The count of frames whose FCS sequence is not correct.
Alignment Errors	Number of frames that are not an integral number of octets in length and do not pass the FCS check.
Octets Transmitted	Count of octets including padding octets successfully transmitted.
Late Collisions	Number of the times that a collision has been detected later than one slot Time from the start of the packet transmission. A late collision is counted twice, both as a collision and late collision.
Frames Aborted Due To Excessive Collisions	Number of the frames that, due to excessive collisions are not transmitted successfully.
Octets Received	Count of octets including padding octets successfully received.
Frame Too Short Errors	Displays a count of frames that are received with a frame size below the minimum permitted frame size.
Frame Too Long Errors	Displays a count of frames that are received with a frame size above the maximum permitted frame size.
Multicast Frames Transmitted	Count of multicast frames transmitted on the interface.
Broadcast Frames Transmitted	Count of broadcast frames transmitted on the interface.
Multicast Frames Received	Count of multicast frames received on the interface.
Broadcast Frames Received	Count of broadcast frames received on the interface.
Collisions	The total number of regular collision events occurring during transmission.
Pause Frames Transmitted	Count of pause frames transmitted from the interface.
Pause Frames Received	Count of pause frames received on the interface.
Ethernet Interval Valid	Displays whether the period is valid.
FCS Error Bytes	The number of bytes whose FCS sequence is not correct.

When the ETHTX/ETHGE interface on CEL-3 card is configured in L2 mode, Running Counters are displayed along with Binned Counters.

Section Interval Valid	Interval Valid is the validity of the interval and the validity of data during that interval.
Packets RX/TX 64 Bytes	Count of 64 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 65-127 Bytes	Count of 65-127 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 128-255 Bytes	Count of 128-255 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 256-511 Bytes	Count of 256-511 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 512-1023 Bytes	Count of 512-1023 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 1024-1518 Bytes	Count of 1024-1518 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 1519-1522 Bytes	Count of 1519-1522 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 1523-2047 Bytes	Count of 1523-2047 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 2048-4095 Bytes	Count of 2048-4095 byte length packets.
Packets RX/TX 4096-9216 Bytes	Count of 4096-9216 byte length packets.
Egress Discards Frame	Displays the count of frames discarded apart from the egress definitions.
STP BPDU's RX	Displays the Spanning Tree Protocol Bridge Protocol Data Units received.
STP BPDU's TX	Displays the Spanning Tree Protocol Bridge Protocol Data Units sent.
RSTP BPDU's RX	Displays the Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol Bridge Protocol Data Units received.
RSTP BPDU's TX	Displays the Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol Bridge Protocol Data Units sent.
MSTP BPDU's RX	Displays the Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol Bridge Protocol Data Units received.
MSTP BPDU's TX	Displays the Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol Bridge Protocol Data Units transmitted.
Unicast Frames RX	Displays the Unicast Frames received.
Unicast Frames TX	Displays the Unicast Frames transmitted.
Rx Overflow	Displays the count of packets dropped beyond the buffer threshold value.
Unacceptable Frame Type	Displays the number of frames discarded from this port due to being an unacceptable frame type.
