The MDU-40E-C-100G and MDU-40O-C-100G are 100GHz channel spaced DWDM multiplexer and demultiplexer. The MDU-40E-C-100G is spaced in the even channels (192.00 to 195.90 THz) and the MDU-40O-C-100G is spaced in the odd channels (192.05 to 195.95 THz). These are based on Athermal Arrayed Wave Guide (AAWG) purely passive technology and each multiplexer and demultiplexer is housed in a standalone 1 RU 19’’ sub-rack which can be used with the product platform for aggregating multiple channels in the optical domain.
Both MDU-40E-C-100G and MDU-40O-C-100G are used with an optical Interleaver Unit (ILU-C-50G) to provide 80 Channel aggregation in a pair of fiber at 50GHz.
