Introduction

Network planning is a collection of operations (network simulation and network analysis) to map the logical connections (i.e., end-to-end client services) into the physical connections (i.e., hardware connectivity and service provisioning information.) APT planning tool performs these network operations and at the same time minimizes the risk of deploying any type of network by evaluating different network topologies and upgrading plans for the network.

APT is based on a Client-Server distributed architecture, enabling centralized planning. Users can use the state-of-art graphical interface to plan the networks over standardized browsers.
