Power Filter Unit

The Power Filter Unit (PFU) supported in TJ1600-2 chassis supports load sharing on redundancy basis i.e. if one PSU fails, other will be the active load driver and provide a stable DC power to other cards in the system. The unit provides a filtered input voltage of -40V to -57.6V to the chassis and the cards on the chassis.

An EMI filter is used to restrict conducted emissions. The filters have transient voltage suppressors to prevent voltage surges affecting the system.

Power	This is with redundant power supply in the system.
	Red	When the card is jacked in without input feed. Output voltage out of range. Red will blink if card goes for over current protection.
	Green	Card is working fine. Green will blink when the card goes down because of input voltage protection.
	Red and Green	Red and Green will blink alternatively if card goes for over temperature protection.
Power	If there is no redundant power supply in the system.
	Red	Output voltage out of range. Red will blink if card goes for over current protection.
	Green	Card is working fine. Green will blink when the card goes down because of input voltage protection.
	Red and Green	Red and Green will blink alternatively if card goes for over temperature protection.
	Blank	If input is not present.
