Perform the steps given below to enable auto-discovery on a STMn port.
Click Configuration > NE adjacency > Auto-Discovery in the navigation pane. The Auto-Discovery configuration preview pane is displayed.
Select the Chassis No. from the drop down option. The value will be 1 by default.
Select the desired card from the Slot No. drop down list. Card options are available only after the Chassis No. is selected. The Auto-Discovery configuration- Neighbour Discovery preview pane is displayed with a list of ports on the selected card.
User can enable or disable auto discovery status at port level as well as at individual path of a port also.
To enable auto discovery at port level, select 'Enable' or 'Disable' against the desired ports on Neighbour Discovery pane and then go to Step 5.
To enable auto discovery at path level, click on the STMn port link on Neighbour Discovery pane. Auto Discovery configuration pane is displayed as shown in the Figure below.
Click on the drop down option against the Auto Discovery Status of desired AU4 path and set it as Enable or Disable.
Click Submit. A confirmation message is displayed.
Click Accept Valid Modifications. A 'Successfully Modified' message is displayed.
