Configuring HTTP Sessions

Perform the steps given below to enable or disable http on the node and perform other session configuration settings.

  1. Click Security > User Sessions > HTTP Sessions in the navigation pane. The Active HTTP Sessions preview pane is displayed.
  2. Click on Enable HTTP drop down and select 'Enable' or 'Disable' option as desired.
  3. Enter the value in Session Timeout (Minutes) and Maximum HTTP Sessions fields. For parameter description, the default and acceptable values supported refer to HTTP Settings parameters table given below.
  4. Click Submit. A confirmation message is displayed.
  5. Click Accept Valid Modifications. "Successfully Modified" message is displayed under Warnings field.

    A click on Back link will direct you to Active HTTP Sessions preview pane.

Maximum HTTP Sessions

The maximum number of HTTP sessions allowed on the node.

Enable HTTP

Allows you to enable or disable HTTP on the node. Default selection is Disable.

  • Enable: Select to enable insecure login to the node through http.
  • Disable: Default selection where http is disabled. In this case, node can be accessed only through secure (https) login.
