Notifier Configuration

TJ5100-S allows the user to subscribe to the type of events, for which the user would be notified. When the defined type of event occurs, TJ5100-S will notify the user through a notification method that the user has configured i.e.., SMS, Email, DOS Batch file, SNMP trap, BatchNotifierAPI, XML notification etc.,

TJ5100-S notification system is very flexible. The email/SMS formats and DOS batch files are definable on a subscription-by-subscription basis. Beside using email or running user-defined batch files, it is possible to receive notifications via mobile phone (SMS) (depending on the services offered by the mobile phone operators) or set off beep chimes on a workstation and set an SNMP trap.

There are multiple steps involved in configuring the notifiers, based on the type of notifier. Notifier method must be configured before adding notifier alerts.

The first step to add notifier is to configure the Email server. Next step is to configure Notifier Methods and move to configure alerts.
