MDU8-D

The function of the MDU8-D is to add and drop 8 DWDM channels with 100GHz spacing. One card supports multiplexing of 8 wavelengths in the transmit direction and de-multiplexing of 8 wavelengths in receive direction.

Upgrade port is provided so that five MDU8-D cards can be cascaded to build a 40 channel system with 100GHz spacing. This is a purely a passive card which is used with the help of the HCPADP01 optical adaptor card. MDU8-D card occupies about 2/3^rd of the slot.

MDU8-D is an 8 Channel 100GHz Multiplexer and Demultiplexer card supported in 2/3^rd slot width. This is used with the HCPADP01 optical adaptor card.
