Warm Rebooting cards

Perform the steps given below to issue a warm reboot to the cards.

  1. Click Maintenance > Warm Reboot Cards in the navigation pane. The Warm Reboot Cards preview pane is displayed.

  2. Under the Warm Reboot field, select the check box against the card(s) desired to be rebooted.
  3. Click Reboot. A confirmation message is displayed.

    NOTE: In case of Ethernet cards, a warning message "This operation may be traffic impacting" is displayed.

  4. Click Yes. A message "cards warm rebooted successfully. Card/NE will come up in few minutes" is displayed.

Parameter

Description

Slot

Displays the slot number in which the card is present.

Card Type

Lists the cards for warm rebooting operation.

Warm Reboot

Select the check box against the card(s) desired to warm reboot.

Reset

Click this button to revert to default values on Warm Reboot Cards pane.

Reboot

Click this button to issue warm reboot on the selected cards.
