Consider following precautions while provisioning MS-SP ring:
Maximum of sixteen nodes are allowed in one MS-SP ring. Hence, Node ID can range between 00 and 15.
Two nodes should not have the same Node ID.
Ring Map of a node should always monitor its west port to which east port of next node is connected.
During cross-connect creation, only ENUT and extra traffic channels in work slot is allowed to be provisioned.
After creating cross connect (VC3/VC4), ensure that Source Node ID and Destination Node ID is mentioned properly in the Edit CrossConnect preview pane (refer to the Cross-connects section) to avoid mis-connections during multiple failures.
