Ethernet Ring Protection Commands

This section describes the commands related to ERP as per ITU-T G.8032 v1/v2. ERP operates on two modes, ring mode and ringlet mode for provisioning of ERP related commands.

no erp ring

This command deletes the ring completely

NOTE: Once a erp ring is deleted all the ring parameters associated with it are removed. erp ring can be deleted only when the ring and associated ringlets are in deactive state.

no erp ringlet

This command deletes the ringlet config all-together

NOTE: This command is to remove the ringlet completely with all parameters. To delete the ringlet, it should be deactivated.

show erp stats

This command shows the erp stats for given ringlet id.
