Viewing the Performance Statistics of the Regenerator Section - Multiplex Section

Perform the steps given below to view the performance statistics.

Click Performance in the navigation pane.
Do one of the following:
- To view performance statistics on current interval, click Current interval > STM in the navigation pane. STM-Current interval statistics preview pane is displayed.
- To view performance statistics for 15 minutes interval, click 15min intervals > STM in the navigation pane. STM-Interval statistics preview pane is displayed.
- To view performance statistics for previous day, click Previous day > STM in the navigation pane. STM-Previous day's history preview pane is displayed.
Click on Regenerator Section/Section - Multiplex Section/Line link for the desired STM port. The performance statistics of the Regenerator Section/Section and the Multiplex section/Line is displayed.
Figure below shows Current interval counters for Regenerator Section and Multiplex Section (SDH mode).

Reset options available under Regenerator Section/Section are:

Reset Regenerator Section/Section Current 15 Min Statistics
Reset Regenerator Section/Section Current Day Statistics

Reset options available under Multiplex Section/Line Overhead are:

Reset Multiplex Section/Line Current 15 Min Statistics
Reset Multiplex Section/Line Current Day Statistics
Reset Multiplex Section/Line Current 15 Min (Far End)
Reset Multiplex Section/Line Current Day (Far End)

The table below describes the Regenerator Section performance counters when the node is operated in SDH mode.

Regenerator Section performance counters (SDH mode)

Parameter	Description
ES	The errored second in the regenerator section.
SES	The severely errored second in the regenerator section.
UAS	The unavailable second in the regenerator section.
SEP	The severely errored period in the regenerator section.
EB	The errored blocks in the regenerator section.
BBE	The background block errors in the regenerator section.
ESR	The errored seconds ratio in the regenerator section.
SESR	The severely errored seconds ratio in the regenerator section.
BBER	The background block error ratio in the regenerator section.
SEPI	The severely errored period intensity in the regenerator section.
Interval Valid	Displays the validity of the interval in regenerator section as 1 or 0. '1' is displayed when none of the below mentioned operations occur at that interval on the port. '0' is displayed if any of the below mentioned operations occur at that interval on the port. The operations are: Manual reset of performance counters SFP jack-in/jack-out Card jack-in/jack-out Port Admin down Reboot

NOTE: FecPre, Fec0to1, Fec1to0, FecTotal, FecPost and FecR counters will be displayed under Regenerator Section only when FEC is enabled on HCPSLine03 card.
