- 16-channel multiplexer and demultiplexer active optical card.
- Adds or drops any wavelength from the respective add and drop ports and hence this acts as a colourless MDU.

- Measures optical power per channel.
- Controls transmission performance.

HCPADP01 and HCPADP02
|
- Accommodates both active cards and passive cards.
- Provides power and electrical connectivity to various types of cards.
- HCPADP01 card splits a slot into 2/3rd and 1/3rd slots, where 1/3rd slot supports FPU01 and 2/3rd slot supports MDU-8-D card, FPU01 card with FPUADP01 adapter card.
- HCPADP02 card splits a slot into two half slots, where each half slot can support OPM, OADM1, OADM4 and VOA cards.

- Add and drop 8 DWDM channels with 100GHz spacing.
- One card supports multiplexing of eight wavelengths in the transmit direction and de-multiplexing of eight wavelengths in receive direction.

- One card supports multiplexing of 16 wavelengths in the transmit direction and de-multiplexing of 16 wavelengths in receive direction.
