HCPSLine12

HCPSLine12 card supports ten pluggable 10G/OTU2 optical ports, two pluggable 40G/OTU3 optical ports, and one pluggable 100G/OTU4 optical port. It supports a maximum of 100G SDH/OTN backhaul. The card can be configured as muxponder (at 100G line side) card. The 100G port P1 supports Coherent DWDM CFP and non-coherent CFP. The 40G ports P2 and P3 are of QSFP+ types. The 10G ports P4 to P13 are of SFP+ types.

HCPSLine12 card supports CFP (P1), 2xQSFP+ (P2 and P3), 10xSFP+ (P4 to P13) interfaces.

NOTE: Port P2 and P3 can support pluggable QSFP28 optics for 100GE/OTU4.

The mode(s) supported with HCPXCC03, HCPXCC04, OSMC01 and OAMC include:

The HCPSLine12 card also supports 10G and 40G Client to 1xOTU4 muxponder configurations as described earlier. The client side supports SFP+/QSFP+ optical interface and the line/network side supports CFP.

Following functionalities in particular are supported:

10x10GE/STM-64/OTU2 ->1xOTU4 (with E/GFEC/SD-FEC)
2x10GE/STM-64/OTU2+2x40GE/OTU3 ->1xOTU4 (E/GFEC/SD-FEC)

Functional description

HCPSLine12 card supports the following functional features:

Processes the received OTU2/OTU2e/STM64/10GE, 40GE/OTU3 and OTU4/100GE frame for all alarm and performance monitoring signals.
Status and Active LEDs are provided to indicate the power on and working status of the card. Two LEDs for each optical port is used for transmitter and receiver laser status.
This card supports live insertion and hot-swap capability.
