HCPSLine12

HCPSLine12 card supports ten pluggable 10G/OTU2 optical ports, two pluggable 40GE/OTU3 optical ports, and one pluggable 100G/OTU4 optical port. The 40G ports P2 and P3 are of QSFP+ types. The 10G ports P4 to P13 are of SFP+ types.

NOTE: OTU3 optical ports are not supported.

HCPSLine12 card supports CFP (P1), 1xQSFP+/QSFP28 (P2), 1xQSFP+ (P3), and 10xSFP+ (P4 to P13) interfaces.

HCPSLine12 card supports the following functional features:

• 100G port on P1 supports Coherent DWDM CFP and non-coherent CFP.
• Supports a maximum of 100G OTN backhaul.
• Card can be configured as muxponder (at 100G line side) card.
• Processes the received OTU2/OTU2e/STM64/10GE/8GFC/12GFC/16GFC/32GFC, 40GE, and 100GE frame for all alarm and performance monitoring signals.
• Status and Active LEDs are provided to indicate the power on and working status of the card. Two LEDs for each optical port is used for transmitter and receiver LASER status.
• This card supports live insertion and hot-swap capability.

• 10x10G TO 1xOTU4 MUXPONDER
  • P1: OTU4
  • P4-P13: 10xSTM-64/OTU2/OTU2e/10GE/8GFC/12GFC
  • P5, P7, P9, P11: 16GFC
  • P4, P8: 32GFC

    NOTE: If a port “n” is configured as 16GFC then immediate next port (n+1) cannot be used for any other client ports.

    If a port “m” is configured as 32GFC then next 3 continuous ports (m+1, m+2 & m+3) cannot be used for any other client ports.

The HCPSLine12 card also supports 10G and 40G Client to 1xOTU4 muxponder configurations as described earlier. The client side supports SFP+/QSFP+ optical interface and the line/network side supports CFP.

Following functionalities in particular are supported:

• 10x10G —> 1xOTU4 (with GFEC/SD-FEC)
• 2x10G + 2x40GE —> 1xOTU4 (GFEC/SD-FEC)
• 1x100GE —> 1xOTU4 (GFEC/SD-FEC)
• 1x100GE (FLEX) + nx10G —> 1xOTU4 (GFEC/SD-FEC) (n=1 to 9)

Visual indicator details

The visual indicators on the HCPSLine12 card has two LEDs - the Sts (Status) LED indicate the status of the card and the Act (Active) LED indicates whether the card is active or not.
