The C form-factor pluggable (CFP) is a multi-source agreement to produce a common form-factor for the transmission of high-speed digital signals. The 'C' stands for the Latin letter C used to express the number 100 (centum), primarily defining 100 Gigabit Ethernet systems.
CFP module is associated with an OTU4/100GE port on Line card HCPSLine22.
Perform the steps given below to view the laser details of CFP module. This procedure is explained with HCPSLine22 card as a reference.

Displays the power in decibels per milliwatt (dBm) of the received signal. |
Tx Power (dBm) |
Displays the power in decibels per milliwatt (dBm) at which the signal is transmitted. |
Tx Laser Bias (mA) |
Displays the laser bias current in terms of milliamperes. |
Tx Laser Temperature (degrees C) |
Displays the temperature of the lane highest among all the lanes in a CFP module in transmit direction. |
Module Voltage (Volts) |
Displays the voltage of the CFP module in terms of Volts. |
Module Temperature (degrees C) |
Displays the temperature of the transceiver in terms of degree Celsius. |
